2. Custom Manufactured Products
All products sold by Factory Direct Shades are custom manufactured to customer specifications, including measurements, fabric selections, and configuration options.
Because products are made specifically for each order:

Items are not eligible for return once production begins;

Orders are manufactured exactly as submitted at checkout;

Customers are responsible for verifying all selections before placing an order.
3. Order Approval & Customer Responsibility
By completing checkout, you confirm that:

All measurements are accurate;
-
Product selections and options are correct;
-
Mounting conditions and installation suitability have been reviewed;
-
You approve the final specifications submitted.
Factory Direct Shades is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect measurements, selections, or installation conditions provided by the customer.
4. Order Changes & Cancellations
Production begins the next business morning after an order is placed.
Orders may be canceled or modified only if requested before 8:00 AM (Eastern Time) on the next business day following purchase.
After this time, orders enter production and cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded.

5. Color, Fabric & Material Variations
Product images, fabric colors, and textures displayed on the Site are intended for reference only.
Actual appearance may vary due to:

screen settings,
-
lighting conditions,
-
installation environment,
-
normal manufacturing or dye lot variations.
Such variations are normal and do not constitute defects. Customers are encouraged to order fabric samples prior to purchase.
6. Installation Responsibility
Customers are responsible for confirming:

window measurements,
-
mounting surfaces,
-
installation clearance,
-
structural suitability.
Factory Direct Shades is not responsible for installation errors, structural limitations, or compatibility issues at the installation location.
Professional installation is recommended.
7. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to:

correct pricing errors,
-
refuse or cancel orders resulting from incorrect pricing,
-
limit quantities purchased.
Payment must be completed before production begins.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated production and delivery timelines are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Factory Direct Shades is not responsible for delays caused by:

shipping carriers,
-
weather events,
-
customs processing,
-
supply chain disruptions,
-
events outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon shipment.
9. Product Warranty & Defects
If a product arrives damaged or contains a verified manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly.
We may, at our discretion:

repair the product, or
-
remake the product.
Normal wear, improper installation, misuse, or environmental damage are not considered manufacturing defects.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, designs, and software, is the property of Factory Direct Shades or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit Site content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Factory Direct Shades shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

use of the Site,

product installation,

measurement errors,

delays in delivery,

loss of business or profits.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
